FAQ

  • What is the format of the course?

The course is structured into main topics, with a video lesson for each sub-topic. A quiz with automatically marked questions and feedback is included after each video lesson. These are completed online. There are also additional practice exam questions to be completed with pen and paper to emulate the exam environment. Student Summary Notes are provided for each topic, summarising the material in the video lesson. You may find it useful to register for the 'Free Preview' to see the structure of the course. The 'Welcome to the Course' video (which is available on the Free Preview) also gives a useful insight.

  • What tutor support is available?

Tutor support is available via email. We will get back to you asap, usually within a few hours.

  • How quickly will I get access to the course?

You will gain immediate access to the full course as soon as you complete your purchase.

  • How long do I get access to the course?

Standard access to the course is for two years (730 days) from the date of purchase. Please contact us to discuss any requests for extended access.

  • Do I have to keep to a timetable?

No. You will have full access to the whole course as soon as you purchase and are free to complete it as and when you choose. A suggested learning plan is provided as a guide for completing the course in one year (30 weeks) or two years (60 weeks) but is entirely optional.

  • I don't want my child to be interrupted by adverts or messaged by strangers. Is the learning platform safe?

Absolutely. Access to any of our courses is secured and can only be accessed by those enrolled on the course through a registered email address and password. We have not enabled any discussions so no learner can communicate with other learners. We use the dedicated Thinkific learning platform meaning you will only see your own course content. No annoying adverts.

  • Can I download the resources and print them out?

The course is designed as an online course. Some resources, such as practice exam questions, are downloadable and may be printed out so you can attempt them as you would in the exam. Some reference resources, such as formulae, are also downloadable and printable. However, as an online course, not all resources are downloadable such as the video lessons. You are, though, able to access them online 24 hours a day and can re-visit any resource as many times as you like.

  • Do I need a printer?

No. The course is designed as an online course and can be completed entirely online. However, you may find it helpful to print some of the resources, such as exam questions if you wanted to replicate the exam environment. This is entirely up to you.
